Theme Builder 'Single Post' template messing up homepage formatting

Hi all.

I created a blog post template within Theme Builder and set the display instances to 'all single posts'.

However, once it is published, it messes up the formatting of my homepage. My homepage is a page... no posts or anything blog related on there. I can't figure out how to fix this. Any help would be greatly appreciated!
