Template and how to add images to the image carousel

Hi,

very new to Elementor, so hope i don't this is a stupid question and you'll know what i mean.

I made a template for a custom post type i made ('project'). In this template i added the 'image carousel' widget.

When i make a new project i'd like to add the usual items like Title, Post Content and some custom fields AND an image carousel.

Question
When i create a new project based on the template 'project' i made: what is the easiest way to add images to the image carousel for eacht project?
