First post - Appreciate advice in advance! 
Can anyone shine some light on how to control the six elf the preview box, so that it remains fixed when clicking thumbnails, as opposed to it change size depending on the ratio of the picture, which is a very poor UX.
An other way of thinking, is having embed lightbox experience on page. Lightbox works nicely on mobile, it's not so fun on desktop tbh.
Obviously cropping images to be the same size is one way, but this is not the solution I am looking for, as the context is when as the designer, you have no control over how the user upload the content, quality control being a whole other challenge!
