Problem with Drop Cap feature

My website has recently adopted a problem when I compose paragraphs on my Wordpress/Elementor site. The problem is that it has changed the first character of all first paragraphs to the Drop Cap style, even though this option has been deactivated. Also, when I now create new blogs to my websitepage, the Drop Cap feature activates even though it is clear that I have not requested this setting. Can anyone help with this fault / bug / problem ?
