Posts Element (Issue with "Sticky" Posts)

I have two 'posts' elements side by side in two separate columns.

• The left column 'posts' element shows 1 "sticky" post (the most recent)
• The right column 'posts' element shows 6 posts (most recent) that are not "sticky"

Issue 1: I "un-stickied" a post — then "stickied" a new post. Now the left column is showing both the old and new stickied posts. Even though it should only show 1 post at most (not 2) — and the most recent stickied post.

Issue 2: The right column isn't showing the old post that I now unstickied — even though it should.

I'm using the sticky button on the wordpress editor — unless there is one I'm supposed to use on elementor?
