Nav Menu Dropdown expanded to current archive

We are using Themebuilder to create a page where the side menu in the template uses the standard Elementor Nav Menu with layout option set to "dropdown".

Currently when we select an item from the menu, the menu automatically collapses when it loads the linked page.

Is there a simple way to have the menu stay expanded showing the current archive highlighted?
