Install Elementor when 'folder already exists'

WP is telling me to instal the Elementor plugin (which was installed already) - when I try to instal it, I get the error that the folder already exists- which it does. So does an Elementor Pro folder - but neither plugin show up on my plugin list, and Elementor is not running so my website (built with Elementor) is trash. Should I delete the folder and try to instal again? I did not build the site, but my web developer says he can't not get to it until 'maybe Monday'! I can not wait until Monday - this is my income earner! Thank you for any help!

Make a backup of the entire site through hosts imaging & through ftp, delete those folders ant try to reinstall the plugins
