Inner Section Column gap help

Hi,
I have 2 columns inside a column but not able to get a column gap between them. I have tried to alter the coulmn gap setting for the section and it seems to redraw the section but the columns have not changed. Anyone else having an issue?

I am having a similar issue. I have a section with three columns and as I adjust the Column Gap for the section, it only applies to the first column but not others. Did you play with it more and come to an understanding?
