elementor not working

hello,

please i need some help, when i try editing any page of my website with elementor, it takes me to a white page with codes only. It shows no widgets or sections just codes.
I rolled back the update, deactivated all other plugins, went to settings - advanced - switch editor mode and set it to 'enable' but all to no avail.
please what can is possibly wrong? I am using the latest version of word press and elementor version 2.1.15.

please any assistance will be appreciated.
