Elementor not showing Wordpress image library to select\insert - instead asks for url address

Hi, I'm new to the forum and Elementor.
When building pages\posts in Elementor using the image tool if I try to select the image I am not shown the image library - instead I am asked for the url address of the image. I cannot figure out how to access the media library to choose the image I want
How do I get to the Wordpress media library so I can see the contents and pick the image I want?
Any response will be appreciated. Thanks in advance.
