Creating a Pop-up Newsletter Subscription

Hi,

I recently decided to create a newsletter for our business and attempted to create a pop up with a subscribe box. I was successful in creating this but how do I configure it to save the user's email address? I cant seem to find anything online that goes through the process from the beginning.

When I attempt to subscribe, it just says 'error.' I have Elementor Pro, btw.
