Hi everyone,
I'm facing a critical stability issue and need input from anyone who has dealt with Elementor's Developer Edition dependency.
Since I cannot safely leave the Dev version without losing content, is there any known way to manually strip this specific version's dependencies from the database to achieve stability?
I'm looking for a migration path that ensures stability, even if it's complex.
Any advice is appreciated.
I'm facing a critical stability issue and need input from anyone who has dealt with Elementor's Developer Edition dependency.
The Problem
My live site is running Elementor Dev (v3.33.x) and Elementor Pro. The unstable Dev code causes frequent conflicts with caching (WP Rocket),leading to recurring broken layouts, resulting in major content shifting/Flash of Unstyled Content (FOUC) until the cache is manually cleared. The Failure
I tried to fix this by returning to the stable release.- I deactivated the Elementor Developer Edition plugin.
- I performed a forced rollback of the core Elementor files (via the "Version Control" tool and also a manual FTP overwrite).
The Question
It appears the content/database is now fully dependent on the v3.33.x Dev code.Since I cannot safely leave the Dev version without losing content, is there any known way to manually strip this specific version's dependencies from the database to achieve stability?
