Adding custom css to have a gradient and button appear over text on hover

Hello all,

I want to create this effect within my wordpress page (1st image normal, 2nd image on hover)

I am using elementor and wanted to add it using the custom css... I have already written some code, although my css skills are not the best in the world. I have a codepen but cannot upload here. Maybe I can DM it to everyone curious.


Trying to implement this css has only failed miserably, looking for advice, Thanks in advance
