Unwanted Hover Animation on Button

Hi there. I am using theme styling for my buttons and I get an unwanted grow effect on hover. I checked all places that could be the issue including hover animation at the widget level, but can't seem to resolve it. I tried the same thing on another webpage and it works as expected. No problem. Likely a simple fix but I'm stumped. Any ideas what may be causing this? Many thanks in advance.
