Question Typography - Text colours & fonts not changing

Hi
I'm using the Bloggy theme, but an Elementor Home Page template.
I just can't seem to change the text font or colours in newly created or existing text boxes (headings seem ok).
I can change size, alignment, spacing, formatting (uppercase etc)...
Please help
