Themebuilder: Can't go back to original Header / Menu

I built a header for my page. This also works.
Problem: I can't turn it off without ruining the theme header / menu.
Either no header / menu is displayed at all, or the header is broken and the menu is displayed as a long list.
No matter which theme!
The debuger reports: Template File: No Templates for condition> [Theme] - index.php (depending on the theme)
