Problems with linking to outside urls using Elementor HTML widget

Hi, I am using latest Wordpress with latest Elementor and "Helle" theme.
I included several html widgets in my layout and I have links to other websites within those.

Instead of linking to another website like for example yahoo.com, it links to localhost/wp/ yahoo.com
