Private page issue - takes user to Admin login

New Member
I have built a private password protected page - confirmed it through “quick edit”. However, when I get out of the Admin login and click the button on its parent page to access it, the “Admin login” screen is loaded rather than the prompt for the password for the protected page.

What am I doing wrong?
