Portfolio (posts) image isn't showing

Hi all, new here, and love elementor. Have pro version and want to import posts into a page.

I've followed the video, and unable to get the post to show.

I am posting using the elementor method. I have not done it in the wordpress editor, and maybe that is what's needed but would like to understand why the images are not showing,. I've toggled the show/unshow image and image position to non and back, no difference. Help
