I’m trying to set-up an Elementor sign-up form with MailChimp. The problem I’m facing is after filling the sign-up form and submitting it, I get a red cross which appears under the submit button and the MailChimp list is not being populated.
The error gives no clue as to what the issue is, it just provides a generic message “An error occured”.
This is how I’ve set up the sign-up form:
1) API key has been added and validated in Elementor integrations.
2) In the form, I’ve set up actions after submit to mailchimp - api key is default, and connects to my MailChimp list that I have set-up.
Other things I’ve tried but have not worked:
1) Created new MailChimp API key and tried using that instead.
2) Renamed list to ensure Elementor is picking up the right one which it is.
3) Made sure I’ve only have one field in MailChimp (email field) which corresponds to what I have on my sign-up form.
4) Entered the API key using the custom functionality instead for the form.
I wonder if anyone knows what the issue could be please? Thanks
