How to get featured image on both home page and single post?

Hi! I just uploaded a post and the featured image just show up on the single post and not on the home page like I want it to. When I click on the post on the home page (which only shows the full text and not the featured image) I get to the single post and then the featured image show up, but I want it on the home page as well, I only have the text on my home page now.

Anyone who knows how I can make the featured image show up on my home page when I publish new post?
