Question How to display custom field in the Posts Widget?

Hello,

We want to display a "latest blog posts" section on a website. Nothing complicated so far with the Posts Widget.
But we need to display and style more than just the common featured image/title/date/comments basic information.
Our posts have custom fields that need to be seen right from the posts loop.

Is it a missing feature? are we missing the way to select and display custom post fields?
