Getting a red circle with red line through it

Help,
I am using Elementor plugin for the first time, on a Hestia theme. When I choose to edit page with Elementor it takes me to the screen to select a widget and says to click and drg it across. However when I try to do this is just get a red circle with a red line through it.

Any ideas? have a missed a step in the process?
