Dynamic form field

Hi guys.

Big brain time.
Is it possible to show a field (red rectangle) based on the entry from the dropdown field and mark it as requried. I only want to show this field if "Anderes Material" is selected.

I've tried it with javascript and a html field but my script isn't working.
