Change hover to click

I acquired an Elementor Pro licence.

I've inserted some flip boxes in my page. They are activated as soon as the mouse goes over them.

Instead, I would like to get the same reaction on a click only.

Using JavaScript, how to replace the CSS hover attribute by click ?

I am not really certain, and I have been reading that it can't be done. Which, of course, makes me want to do it.
Unlimited Elements have widgets that can be created with HTML, CSS and JavaScript. I highly recommend them.
