Question Carousel lightbox - on click download all large images

When I click on an image in a carousel that opens the lightbox ALL large versions of the carousel images are downloaded from the server.

This causes a slowdown in the opening of the first image.

Exist the possibility to lazy download the images or something that optimize this operation?
