Basic Gallery: Problem with Caption Alignment

Hi

Im finding that when I create a basic gallery, i cant get the captions to line up perfectly against the right hand edge of the images when i select "right align", but when I choose either "left align" or "centre align" the caption alignment is out by quite a few mm. Illustartion of the probelm below. Does anyone know how to fix this?
