Hello everyone,
I am reaching out for assistance regarding an issue I am experiencing with my website. My category and product pages are not functioning properly when I am not logged into my user account. Here’s a detailed breakdown of the situation:
Background Information
My website has been live for about a month, and everything was operating smoothly until recently.
On the 8th of this month, I ran an SEO audit on one of my products. After completing this task, I noticed that all the product and category pages became inaccessible when I log out of my admin account.
Symptoms of the Issue
When I click on any product or category link or directly from website menu bar while logged out, nothing appears on the page; it remains blank.
However, when I am logged in to my admin account, all pages work perfectly fine without any issues.
Steps Taken So Far
Cleared Cache: I cleared both my browser cache and any server-side cache to ensure that outdated files were not causing the problem.
Checked User Permissions: I reviewed user permissions to ensure that they allow public access to these pages.
Disabled Plugins: Temporarily disabled all plugins to see if there was a conflict causing this issue.
Reverted Recent Changes: Tried reverting any recent changes made during the SEO audit to see if it would resolve the issue.
Questions for Assistance
Has anyone experienced a similar issue where product/category pages are only accessible when logged in?
What could be causing this behavior? Is it related to user permissions or possibly an SEO plugin misconfiguration?
Are there specific settings or configurations in WordPress (or whichever CMS you might be using) that could lead to such an issue?
Any insights or suggestions would be greatly appreciated!
Thank you in advance for your help!
