Widget height changes between editor and preview

Hi I am struggling with an issue. I want to put post titles on a page and I am able to achieve that, except in the editor everything looks as expected, but in the preview, and on the live page when saved, I have a lot of unwanted white space. I've tried adjusting it with css and settings, but I don't see the results I want. I can make it worse. I have attached screenshots and appreciate any help. Thanks.
