Hi,
im running a B2B website on wordpress with the following characteristics:
Plugins:
- Elementor Pro
- TranslatePress - free
- Yoast - free
Languages:
- English (first language),German second
Problem is that our site is ranking very low on google, including the German that has become high priority. Not surprisingly, given that we are online for a short time only. Having said that, Im also not convinced about the technical SEO:
- The sitemap doesnt cover the German version
- ALT IMG, META tags and some other stuff are not translatable.
- probably more things missing.
I asked one of our SEO guys and he said, it would require substantial programming and a different setup of the page. So basically money...
So my questions are:
- If I take Yoast PRO and TranslatePress PRO, can I resolve the issues mentioned above? According to CHATGTP, yes.
- Can I do this on my own without being an SEO professional?
