Posts Widget - Pro ... hyperlinks lost in Excerpt using Card skin

I am using the Edit Posts widget in Elementor Pro. Using the Card skin ... is there a way to maintain the hyperlinks in the Excerpt text ?

The hyperlinks are preserved using the "Full content" skin but they disappear using the "Card Skin"
