Open link in new window/tab not working

Hi,

I have some links in Text and buttons with setting "open in new Window" but they are not opening in new window. I deactivated all plugins already and also have tried other default theme. I also tried html code, nothing worked. Any idea whats wrong?

Hi, all the links on the . home page are set to open in new tab:

the news button should open the PDF in new tab.:

or here the links with pdf files (2nd and 3rd tab),there are some more external links too.

Did you set the "new window" option in your Button options?

Hi there,

Yes, I did and this option is also saved when I re-enter edit mode.
The fiield "open in new windows" is selected for each link, but why are the links still not opening?

I also tried the Icon list widget, but still the same issue :-( When adding open in new window in html code, also the same issue.

Do you have the capability for creating a new website on the same server? If so, build an empty site and test to see if you have the same problem.
Another option...much easier. Disable all of your plugins except Elementor. Create a new page with a button/link and see if that one has the problem. Then you can start narrowing in on where the problem is.

I could solve this issue now, it was caused by the WP Accessibility plugin!
