Logo image loses transparency

Hi! I'm using Elementor pro to create a navbar with a logo. My logo image has a transparent background (set with imagemagick, checked in gimp). If I use the site logo widget, then the image no longer has that transparency. Is that normal? or a Wordpress bug?
