Highlighting active parent menu

New Member
First time making my own site. Just using Elementor. Everything works perfectly, yet I just can't for the life of me get the active child’s parent in the menu to highlight when active.

Have tried to find and alter the css in elementor as well as wp_nav_menu to no avail.
Any tips? The menu is completely made with elementor, within a normal section.

Any help is immensely appreciated!

I achieve this with custom CSS in Nav Menu element:

selector .elementor-nav-menu .current-menu-ancestor > a {color:#ccd606;}
selector .elementor-nav-menu .current-post-parent > a {color:#ccd606;}
