Header display problem

HI there. It's a long time since I used WP and I'm new to Elementor I'm afraid. It's taking a while to come up to speed, but I do like the way it's looking.

I have an issue with the header and footer not displaying and this seems to be linked to Page Layout I select. Wordpress is latest version and I imported the theme from the kit library:

The header, complete with my logo is displayed if I use Default or Theme as the page setting, but this then changes the rest of the page, making the whole thing narrower. I think I should be using Elementor Full Width.

started afresh in case my previous edits were causing a problem, so this is a fresh install of the theme.

Yes, it is linked to the page layout you choose. You're correct - "I think I should be using Elementor Full Width" The narrower page will have been set in 'Page Settings or 'Site Settings' You need to edit 'Page Settings' or 'Site Settings'' and you will be able to change the page width
