Gaps throughout website pages

When I am on my mobile, the website I am building has a load of gaps throughout the various pages. They aren’t there when using my PC. I am pretty sure I may need some custom code to get rid of them. Is that the case? If so, where is best to look for custom code that will sort this issue.
