Elementor and wordpress theme

I want to preface that I am using XAMPP to view my site locally on my PC. I changed the theme in wordpress, decided that it wasn't what I wanted so I went back to my original theme. But now when I go to view the site from wordpress the second theme appears and the body and footer that I did in Elementor is gone. If I select 'edit in Elementor' and then Home in the top bar my body and footer reappear. If I go back to wordpress and view my website the second theme appear and no body or footer. Something out of sync with wordpress and Elementor?

Normally best to go back in to theme editor, open the footer and header and any other elementor made page, and just resave, making sure that you set the instances again.

Changing themes will have changed options and hooks so always best to resave to reinitiate it. You might need to make a small edit, like add a space to a paragraph of text to get the save button to show up obviously.
