Editing the Footer on Elementor Page.

Hi all,

This is my first Elementor Site. I was given this job by a client and was told that it was a WordPress Site that she was after. I have previously done a number of Wordpress sites before.

Turns out that it is an Elementor site, which is pre built on a template.

I am managing to do most things, but this is driving me nuts.

I have been through all the instructions that come with the pre built site, but I am not seeing anything like what they describe.

Basically, I am trying to edit the footer of a page. The instructions say
"Webmaster: To edit Footer, go to home page. Hover over the “Edit with Elementor” menu at top and choose Footer.
Replace placeholder Phone Number
Webmaster: Replace Site Name in footer area. Upon “Update” choose Include Entire Site, Save & Close."

This is the part that I am trying to edit, change the "Business Name or Your Name", the phone number and add an email address (see posted image below)

I have tried looking for the "Elementor Menu" that the instructions mention, but I can't find anything.

The image below is what I get when I edit the page on Elementor, but the text or any of the footer, I cannot seem to edit.

I have tried going through the "Elementor Header and Footer" menu in "Appearance" but that does not contain anything in the Footer.

I've tried the File Editor in Themes.

Anywhere else that I should go to? Or any other suggestions?

Goto Templates Menu - Theme builder - you should see footer in there.

Although the first bit of instructions you were left, should also get to the same place.

I actually got it minutes after I posted this thread.

If you preview the page while logged in, then go to the link "Edit in Elementor" and hover over this, the option of "Edit Footer" comes up.
