Question Can my 'Archive Templates' for specific categories be their own pages with customized permalinks???

Hi Team

I am creating a Blog, I've created a kind-of menu page with 13 different categories visitors can explore, and I have created a seperate archive template page for each of the individual categories which I am hoping will categorise my posts as I release them in their respective categories. Can I link the archive template pages to the categories manu page? And once in the archive template page visitors can then click on specific posts to open them up...

It seems like a simple thing that should work, but I'm having trouble...
